Halloween Treats at the Museum

The subject of the monthly Senior Program at Old Independence Regional in September will be Halloween Treats. The program will be at the museum on Tuesday, September 29 at 10 a.m. The group will make a variety of treats from cute to frightening! Program leader and Museum Volunteer Frances Mathis reports, “The recipes we are making are very simple and are perfect for seniors to make to as a surprise for their grandchildren.”  Treats to be made and sampled include: cheesy broomsticks, graham cracker bandages and spider infested deviled eggs.
