Davidsonville Historic State Park December Events -Stroll & Bat-House Workshop

Build a Bat-House Workshop, December 10th, 9am-Noon
Bats are extremely important to our ecosystem and having a bat house near your own home benefits both you and the bats. Sign up for this workshop to learn more about bats and make your own bat house to take home. Space is limited and early registration is required. Call the park to register.

Sunday Afternoon Stroll, Rescheduled for December 11th, 2-3pm
Dress warmly and join the park interpreter for an easy guided walk on one of Davidsonville Historic State Park’s natural or historic trails. Participants will enjoy an hour’s worth of good exercise, good conversation, and the quiet of Davidsonville in wintertime. Bring good walking shoes, a bottle of water, and an open mind to discuss topics ranging from the history of Davidsonville to the old-fashioned skill of pioneer weather predicting and more.
