Enjoy a “Piece-ful” Vacation at the Ozark Folk Center Quilt Retreat Feb. 18-20, 2016

Mountain View, Arkansas – A Quilt Retreat registration makes a great gift for the quilter in your life. Register for the Cozy Comfort Quilt Retreat to be held February 18-20, 2016 at the Ozark Folk Center State Park. Pre-registration required and classes are filling quickly.

Several packages are available including lodging at the Cabins at Dry Creek along with breakfast and lunch each day. The retreat will begin at noon with a meet and greet luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Skillet restaurant.

“You’ll be sewing, quilting and learning new techniques during the retreat,” says Jeanette Larson, Craft Director. “But there’s plenty of time to visit with other quilters and share the techniques they have learned in the other classes.”

There are four classes still available to register for; Jan Savu is teaching her popular Princess Bag class; Jennie Sharpe is teaching her Just Jennifer Vest or Jacket; Rene’ Riggan is teaching the Rising Star Quilt; and Melody Conatser is teaching Gingham Embroidery Blocks.

For more information visit the web site at OzarkFolkCenter.com, or call 870-269-3851. Design-your-own craft workshops are available for your non-quilting partner in a variety of crafts.

The mission of Ozark Folk Center State Park is to perpetuate, present and promote the Ozark way of life in an educational and enjoyable manner; through craft demonstrations, musical programs, the Heritage Herb Garden, workshops and other special events.
