Dogwood Days Festival Garden Tractor Pull
The Horseshoe Bend Area Chamber of Commerce will host a garden tractor pull at the 30th annual Dogwood Days Festival on May 14, 2016. The garden tractor pull will begin at 12:30 and is open to all individuals who have a tractor (or lawn mower) and want to have some fun. Tractors will pull on 3rd street, across from Horseshoe Health and Medicine.
There will be four classes for pulling:
5 TO 10 HP GARDEN TRACTORS
11 TO 16 HP GARDEN TRACTORS
17 TO 22 HP GRADEN TRACTORS
22 TO 25 HP GRADEN TRACTORS
The length of the pull will be 75 feet and the sled will be weighted for each class division. As class progresses, pull weights will be added to the sled. There will be an entry fee of $10 per tractor and prize money will be paid to 1st and 2nd place.
The payout will be 75% of entry fees in each class with 25% going to the Chamber. Tractors are allowed to be modified, but must pull within HP class. Pull at your own risk and you must wear a safety helmet.
