Pocahontas’ Don Waterworth to Receive Prestigious Weather Award

“We are pleased to announce that Don Waterworth, our Cooperative Weather Observer in Pocahontas, AR, has been selected to receive the National Weather Service’s John Campanius Holm Award for outstanding service in the Cooperative Weather Observer program. The award is the agency’s second-most prestigious.
Representatives from the NWS will present the award to Mr. Waterworth in Pocahontas on Wednesday, September 21. See the attached announcement for details regarding the ceremony, the Cooperative Weather Observer program, and the Holm Award.
