Bluebird Coffee House of 211 Thomasville Avenue, Pocahontas, is open Monday through Saturday 8 am to 2 pm and you don’t want to miss stopping by to spend some enjoyable, palatable time feeding yourself and friends/family at this exquisitely run gourmet coffee house. They offer superb coffee, fresh delicious food, and a gift shop for those who like to take “goodies” with them.

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of attending the Founding of Lawrence County at Davidsonville Historic State Park and was rewarded with not only a great history seminar but a delicious lunch provided by Bluebird Coffee House, in person! I chose the scrumptious chicken salad, on huge crescent rolls with apples and grapes, and good white chicken in a delicious dressing and a to-die-for huge chocolate chip cookie! It was nice to meet the owner and I know you will like her as much as I do!
