BAAC is sad to announce that Executive Director, Paige Dirksen, will be resigning from her position at the end of the fiscal year, June 30th, 2015. Paige and her husband, Scott, will be relocating to Auburn, AL where Scott has accepted a position at Auburn University.

“Paige has done an amazing job with moving BAAC forward and serving as an advocate for the arts in our community. She was extremely instrumental in seeing our new gallery space and the vision of BAAC come to fruition, and we are grateful for her service during this significant time for BAAC. Dirksen’s ability to connect with the community and get Batesville enthusiastic about the arts has been a tremendous asset to our organization. It is with warmest personal regards that we wish Paige success in her future endeavors in Auburn. We hope to find another individual to fill Paige’s role as Executive Director that can take what she has accomplished and continue this momentum and enthusiasm for the arts in our community.” – Board President, Linda Creighton

“It is with a heavy heart that I have announced my resignation from BAAC. I am extremely grateful for all of the support this community has shown to both Scott and myself, and it has been an honor to serve as Executive Director of such an amazing organization. The arts play such a vital role in improving our communities, and I look forward to seeing how BAAC grows in the future. I have many volunteers, sponsors, BAAC members, board members, and the community at large to thank for making my time here such a wonderful experience.” – Paige Dirksen, Executive Director
