After enduring the devastation of a tornado last year, the Imperial Theatre in Pocahontas, Arkansas is opening its doors once more—restored, reimagined, and ready to inspire. What was once a quiet landmark is now being reborn as a vibrant community event center, aiming to bring people together and breathe new life into the heart of the town.

This beloved venue, known for its vintage charm and cultural presence, has been thoughtfully transformed to host proms, weddings, family gatherings, concerts, and more. With a spacious yet intimate capacity of 300 guests, the Imperial blends nostalgic character with modern versatility—perfect for creating unforgettable moments and milestones.

But the Imperial isn’t just back—it’s better, with a bold new mission: to revitalize the Pocahontas area through connection, celebration, and shared experiences. “We wanted to give this place back to the people,” said a member of the theatre’s team. “It’s more than just a building—it’s a place where stories begin and communities grow.”

The excitement kicks off this May with the launch of a brand-new concert series. Country music legend Ronnie McDowell will take the stage on May 24, delivering a night of timeless hits and heartfelt storytelling. The energy continues on May 31 with Finley Watkins, a sensational performer known for his dynamic tribute to music icons Elvis Presley and Prince. Finley has already wowed national audiences with two appearances on The Ellen Show, and now he’s bringing his electrifying talent to Pocahontas for a show you won’t forget.

As the Imperial Theatre steps into its next act, it does so with purpose. This isn’t just a reopening—it’s a rebirth. A community landmark is now a stage for music, laughter, and legacy. From school dances to wedding vows, from soulful ballads to rock ‘n’ roll anthems, the Imperial is ready to shine once more.

Welcome back to the Imperial. Welcome back to what makes Pocahontas feel like home.
