The event will be held at the current National Guard Armory building on White Drive. The 17 piece Stardust Big Band will be performing music from the time period. We will have dance instructors available at 6 pm to give free lessons to anyone who would like to learn how to Swing Dance.
Refreshments will be served. Participants are welcome to attend in period dress or semi-formal attire. A silent auction will be held during the event as well.
Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at the Museum. Tickets will also be available at the door. Museum members will receive a discounted ticket price of $5. Tickets for children under 12 will be $5.
The 2015 programming theme for the Museum has been WWII in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the end of the war. The dance has been planned to allow attendees to recreate the way soldiers celebrated during the war years. We hope to see you all there!
