Open Invitation for a fun weekend! This Friday and Saturday you should head over to Newark for their Times-N-Tradition Festival 20th celebration! There will be a carnival with all the rides and food, etc., starting Friday from 5 to 10 pm. Saturday gate admission will be $6 a head and ages 4 and under free.
Saturday’s activities kick off with the parade at 10:00 am on the old ball field. Food at the park will include barbecue, burgers, nachos, funnel cakes and other carnival goodies.
Billy Joe Royal will be the lead entertainer Saturday night at 8:30 pm. A fireworks show will be 10:30 pm.

11 am – Karaoke/talent show starts (cash prizes will be awarded to winners)
12:30 pm – Super Swine Band
2:30 pm – Cummins Prison Band
4:30 – The Roadshow (Nick Fudge and Friends)
6:30 pm – J.R. Rogers and The All Star Band.
8:25 pm – Drawing for a $250 cash prize (ticket holder must be present to win)
