Bluegrass “The Seldom Scene” at Ozark Folk Center State Park July 27th! The Seldom Scene is without a doubt, Washington DC’s favorite bluegrass band but don’t think of this legendary band as a regional band. With a body of work stretching back to 1971 and early collaborations with Emmy Lou Harris, Linda Ronstadt and Jonathan Edwards they are easily one on the most recognizable bands on the circuit today with fans located all over the world.

The Horseshoe Bend Area Chamber of Commerce will host Pizza and Politicians, a Q&A session for Izard County candidates running for Tax Collector, Judge, and Sheriff. This event will take place on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 6 p.m. in the Recreation Center at Crown Point Resort.

New Graphics Coming to “Welcome to Batesville” Billboard on Ramsey Mtn. The “Welcome to Batesville” billboard that greets guests coming down Ramsey Mountain along Highway 167 to Batesville is currently undergoing a facelift. New graphics are expected to be installed in the coming weeks.

The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. The keynote speaker will be Governor Asa Hutchinson. A ribbon cutting will take place at 11:00 a.m.
