Rock ‘n’ Roll Highway 67 Museum Founder and Depot Days Director honored with Tom Biggs Tourism Award. Henry Boyce of Newport was recognized for his work promoting and organizing  the annual Depot Days Festival and for the creation of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Highway 67 Museum all in downtown Newport with  the Tom Biggs Tourism Award at the Ozark Gateway Region Annual meeting.

2018 Pioneer Day in Melbourne May 4-5 includes Parade and Area Young Musicians Concerts and MUCH more! The Melbourne 2018 Pioneer Day festivities include Saturday’s parade and concerts afterward.  The concerts are lined up back to back and include Austin Pool from Calico Rock, Chase Fountain from Calico Rock, Rani Rush from Ash Flat, and Rachel Olivia, also from Arkansas.

Sage and Tom Holland Featured Artists May 28 at the Arkansas Craft Gallery. Arkansas Craft Guild members, Sage and Tom Holland will be Featured Artists at the Arkansas Craft Gallery, Memorial Day, May 28. Flame-worked bead making, or lampwork, is their art, and they have turned Mountain View into a center of learning about and collecting these beautiful beads and exquisite glass jewelry. Tom and Sage have taught workshops all over the world, most recently in France, on the Italian Island of Murano, the famous home of glass workers, in Hamburg, and Istanbul, as well as many workshops in the States.
