Calico Rock Museum Foundation Met its First Match for Honoring Floyd and Flora Hicks

The Calico Rock Museum Foundation is pleased to announce that we have met our (first) match.  Our donor family provided the first $250 of their $1,000 gift today.

As we told you last week, a family has donated a gift of up to $1,000 to the Foundation.  The size of that gift will be a match dollar-for-dollar of gifts given in memory of Floyd and Flora Hicks in the month of December.  The donors agreed, today, to provide that matching gift to us every time we reach $250.

So, they made their first gift today in the amount of $250 because so many people in the community have responded with gifts.

This means, the Foundation has raised $500 to honor our dear friends, Floyd and Flora Hicks.  But, we have a long way to go.  We can still earn an additional $750 from our donors.
