The ghosts of Davidsonville past are calling once again. Can you hear them? The leaves are turning and a chill is in the air. Can you feel it? An evening of music, history, and haunting draws near once more. Will you be there? Arkansas State Parks and the staff of Davidsonville Historic State Park invite you to join them October 8th from 5-9pm. Live music, historic kids games, living history demonstrations, haunted hayrides ($3 for adults $2 for kids), and more await you at this year’s Ghost of Davidsonville Fall Festival.
Davidsonville Historic State Park invites you to join us for any and all of the upcoming Legacy Week Park Events. More programs are free and advanced registration for these events is required. Please call, email, or visit the park to sign up.
Geocaching Scavenger Hunt: September 17th, 2016
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: $5.00 per team.
Technology and a sharp mind will serve you well on Davidsonville’s fun and challenging Geocaching course. Find waypoint, solve riddles, and you might just find a treasure at the end of the hunt. Bring a GPS, good walking shoes, and your sense of adventure. Sign up solo or in teams of up to three and discover parts of the park that most visitors never see. Early registration is required, call the park to sign up. Visit the Visitor Center to sign in and begin the hunt.
Sunday Afternoon Stroll: September 18th, 2016

Join the park interpreter for an easy guided walk on one of Davidsonville Historic State Park’s natural or historic trails. Bring good walking shoes, a bottle of water, and an open mind to discuss topics ranging from the history of Davidsonville to the old-fashioned skill of pioneer weather predicting and more.
