The Independence County Library is committed to helping patrons with Family History Research, by appointments, on Tuesdays and Fridays. I have lived in Batesville since 1972 and always been an Independence County Library patron, as have my children and my friends. I have always found them to be more than helpful, have some good friends who work there and who used to work there. There is nothing this friendly staff won’t do to help you.
