Kid’s Campfire Cooking Workshop October 24 at Jacksonport State Park
The air is cool and crisp and the leaves are colorful and brilliant at Jacksonport State Park. This is the perfect time to consider learning a new outdoor skill. There’s nothing that whets the appetite like the aroma of food prepared outdoors over a campfire.
Come on out to Jacksonport State Park Saturday, October 24 and experience hands-on outdoor cooking for kids! This workshop is designed for ages 8 – 12. In this workshop you will learn by doing: tasty, simple, age appropriate dishes will be made. This is an excellent opportunity for kids, parents, and grandparents to make something together!
Reservations are required for this workshop and must be made at least 2 days in advance. Reservations will not be taken after 3 p.m. October 22nd. This workshop is limited to a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 15 participants. Call the park for more information.
