Each of our five rooms has a private bath with shower, different décor and antiques generously sprinkled in each room. The two rooms on the main floor have private entrances; Leah’s opens to the front porch and Becca’s opens to the deck which provides easy access to parking. Also, on the main floor is Miss Tillie’s room which faces the front of the house. All three rooms on the main floor have original wood floors (with vinyl tile in the bath area), queen-size beds, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and individual climate control.  On the second floor, you will find Grandpa’s room and Hattie’s room. Grandpa’s room features a queen-size white iron bed, carpeted floors, private bath, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and climate control. Hattie’s room has two full-size iron beds, private bath, carpeted floor, Wi-Fi, and climate control. Due to the age of the house, there is no cable TV in Hattie’s room. There is a maximum four occupancy in the Hattie’s room.

Our beautiful deck features a lighted gazebo where you can sit and relax on a warm summer evening or enjoy a cup of coffee and read the paper in the morning. There are plenty of swings and seating to relax, read a book, or play games. Planters of flowers cover the area in the spring and summer. There are two common areas you can enjoy other than the porches and deck. In the living room, you can read, play games, watch TV or relax in front of the fireplace. The dining room features a breakfast area where you can have a snack, relax, write letters, or play games. We try to keep fresh fruit, water, and soda available for snacks. A full breakfast featuring coffee, juice, fresh fruit, our signature scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns or our popular French toast and sausage is available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.  Please be sure to let us know about any dietary guidelines or food allergies. We are happy to accommodate.

Happy Guests

“It was a working vacation for us. My husband was playing at the nearby Words and Afterwords and this B & B came highly recommended. We stayed upstairs in Grandpa’s room and my in-laws joined us and stayed downstairs. We spent most of our time in the charming front room.

Ms. Vickie was a perfect hostess, sharing the fascinating history of the house and making suggestions for shopping and dining in Hardy. Our rooms were clean and quite comfortable. We enjoyed a full breakfast both mornings we were there. The inn’s location is ideal for exploring the town. We walked to the shops, the river, and to the venue where my husband performed. I can’t wait to return, hopefully in the spring.”

Always on and the door is always open!!!
