Angler's long ad copyMain Street Winter Gala in Batesville January 29th – Food, Dancing, Silent & Live Auction, Door Prizes!
The 12th Annual Main Street Winter Gala is less than 2 weeks away.  Don’t miss out this year! Join us for a jolly happy Winter Gala!!

Old Indepedence Museum
The Gala begins at 6 p.m. in the Barnett building (where else?)on Friday the 29th.  Plenty of food (don’t eat before you get there) and liquid refreshments.  Dancing, music, silent and live auctions, door prizes and prizes for “best dressed couple” and “best dancers” (bring your dancing shoes).  Theme is Happy Days (the sock-hop era for all of you youngsters) and all are encouraged to dress appropriately (poodle skirts for the ladies and saddle shoes as well).  We’ll meet at Arnold’s Drive In.
Tickets are $25 each or $45 for a couple (available at Citizens Bank, First Community Bank, Merchants and Planters Bank and the Studio Salon).  Merchants and Planters Bank is the Gala’s presenter.  There is an after-party starting at 10 p.m. for those so inclined (tickets for it are available at the event).  Lots of different activities at the after-party for those young at heart.
This is going to be a fun event(after all it is Happy Days) and we have booked The Fonz to fly in from CA to show his stuff AAAAYYY (with two thumbs up!).  Marion, Howard, Richie and other cast members will be there as well.
This promises to be a wonderful night.  Oh wait; there is more– a week’s Bermuda vacation at a famous club is to be auctioned (includes airline tickets for two, a glamorous week at the club and $500 to spend foolishly on this great island).  Also some tickets for a Razorback basketball game!  And lots more,  including some very old books (Boy Scouts, French, general literature etc.)
Sure hope to see you there to enjoy Happy Days.  This promises to be our best ever.
