Old Independence Regional Museum’s 2nd annual “Love Bites” fundraiser on Thursday, February 11 -Volunteer treat makers are needed for Old Independence Regional Museum’s 2nd annual “Love Bites” fundraiser on Thursday, February 11th, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Both sweet and savory bite sized treats will be welcomed this year. Cooks will need to provide 75-100 pieces of their favorite treat. Participating visitors will judge treats and prizes will be awarded to the top three contestants. “Last year ‘Love Bites’ raised $1200 thanks to the generosity of volunteer cooks,” said museum director Amelia Bowman, “we hope to build on that success by adding savory treats to the menu.”
