Delta Road: Artwork by Claire Coppola
Please join us for the reception of BAAC’s current exhibition, Delta Road, featuring work by Claire Coppola (Jonesboro, AR). The reception will be held THIS FRIDAY, June 17 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., with a brief artist talk at 6 p.m. This reception is FREE and open to the public. The exhibition will be on display at the BAAC Gallery on Main until July 30.
The artworks in this exhibition are retired signs, re-purposed as driveway and house markers. Claire Coppola uses vinyl, paint, and reflectors to transform these former street signs into works of art. Coppola also takes photographs of these signs “in situ” overtop of existing street signs.
