After Dark in the Park

Old-Fashioned Trick-or-Treat Fun

After Dark in the Park is a free event for all ages at the Ozark Folk Center State Park on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
“Remember old fashioned Halloween?” asks Jeanette Larson, Ozark Folk Center State Park Craft Director. “Where you went from door to door, saying the words, ‘Trick or Treat’? If you want to relive those memories with your children, come to the park on Halloween night. This event will be fun for the whole family.”
Businesses, civic groups and volunteers will be set up throughout the Craft Village handing out candy donated by local businesses. Visitors can decorate pumpkins to take home at the Picnic Pavilion. Spooky stories will be shared on the Outdoor Music Stage from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Park in the lower parking lot and ride the free shuttle buses up the hill to the Craft Village.
