Rock Climbing Competition King of the Crag

Rock Climbing Competition King of the Crag Saturday Oct. 17 at the Jamestown Crag (Batesville Area)

Blanchard_Springs_Fall_Fifty_Six_8249I wanted to personally invite all of you to the upcoming rock climbing competition King of the Crag which is taking place at the Jamestown Crag this Saturday.  I won’t make it, but you all come on and have a blast!!!

Climbers from all over the United States are converging on Batesville to compete. Local and national sponsors have provided support to make this event another great success!
melbourne2Spectators are welcome to come take in the scenery and to witness world class climbing going down right here in our backyard!
There will be a $5.00 spectator fee- $10.00 will come with a free bowl of pinto beans prepared in a 20 Gallon cast iron pot (similar to the BeanFest in Mtn.View) and a beverage.
All proceeds from this event go towards the preservation and development of the Jamestown Crag.
Climbing begins at 10am and ends at 5pm followed by the awards ceremony and Reel Rock 9 movie showing.
Turn your Saturday into an adventure without having to drive out of the county!
